Writing

Phoebe has always been passionate about writing and creating new work. It is something she continues to explore alongside performance.

A large part of BA World Performance was devising and writing new work. Phoebe's playwriting contributed to three external performances as part of her course, as well a number of smaller projects.
These included a site-specific ghost story, the story of a prisoner on death row, a political satire "Bunga Bunga!" and her final showcase "Memento Vivere".

From 2011-13 Phoebe was a member of The Rondo Writers Group. The Rondo is Bath's premier fringe theatre, and the writers group has the opportunity to have their worked performed in May each year. This year's showcase was the 8th - 11th May and called "What Kind of Day has it Been?". Phoebe's piece, called "A Sitting Room", was performed as part of the evening. Reviews of the performances can be seen on the press page.
